Black box is a feature-length one-person survival thriller set in space.

A one location film production, this full-lenght feature was filmed entirely at the Artwork Atelier in Manchester. The prop scene setup consisted in the space pod and an exact green screen replica of the same set to allow compositing during post production and to generate the illusion of zero gravity.

The setup where designed with precision in order to have full control on the lights, camera angles and lens distortions.

Because of the location limitations in regards of daylight filtration, filming had to happen overnight in shootings sessions of 8 hours.
